Telum Therapeutics SL is an innovative biotechnology company focused on drug discovery, leveraging Synthetic Biology and AI-driven Machine Learning to develop next-generation antimicrobial solutions. Specializing in Engineered Lytic Proteins, Telum is developing new approaches to combat multidrug-resistant infections with precision and innovation.

In 2024, Telum Therapeutics joined the UN Global Compact and committed to supporting its Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

At Telum, we are aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda and contribute to selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our research, operations and ESG practices. As part of this effort, our work contributes primarily to:

• SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being: Developing biological antimicrobial compounds targeting infectious diseases with high unmet medical needs, including multidrug-resistant bacteria.
• SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy: Promoting responsible energy use and operational resource efficiency, where applicable.
• SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production: Supporting more sustainable laboratory practices, waste reduction, responsible resource use and circularity initiatives.
• SDG 13: Climate Action: Monitoring and reducing our environmental footprint through GHG assessment, laboratory sustainability practices, resource efficiency and waste reduction initiatives.

My Green Lab Certification (Gold, 2025)

In September 2025, Telum Therapeutics Lab was awarded the Gold Level My Green Lab Certification, the global standard for laboratory sustainability. This recognition reinforces our commitment to real action on sustainability, reducing our environmental footprint, and embedding sustainable practices into our scientific research.

Our certification complements our CSR strategy and supports several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

• SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy.
• SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
• SDG 13: Climate Action: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

Treedom Partnership

We are planting trees in conjunction with Treedom.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility project with Treedom aims to have a positive impact on the environment and the economy, aligning with 10 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this partnership, Telum supports reforestation in multiple countries and collaborates with local NGOs, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the fight against climate change.

This initiative also provides economic benefits to local communities by promoting sustainable agriculture, job creation, and income generation. By empowering local farmers, the project alleviates poverty and fosters inclusive economic growth.
